We finally cleaned out everything from my apartment last night. The last thing to do was to empty the fridge. Needless to say, I was a little scared! I expected my round of brie to be green, but luckily it was only a little moldy. (It's been there since July 9.) Not as scary as I thought. What was worse was that Paul was handing me things left and right to be tossed out. Some of these had expiration dates from 2006! WTF?! Why they heck do I have mayo from 2006? We tossed out almost all of my condiments and sauces because they were so old. I was dumping them into the sink, while trying not to breathe through my nose. Indian masala sauce + piccata sauce + jam + mayo + whatever the heck else is pretty nasty. N-A-S-T-Y! But we're done. *whew* Our cleaning lady is heading over there on Thursday afternoon to clean it, and then I have my initial walk through on Friday morning.
It's empty. I was actually a little sad while I was closing the door, one last time. I lived at the Aegena longer than any other apartment and it was great. *sigh*

Mrs. Nelson
Married. I'm a wife. And I have a husband. Wow. It's pretty surreal. I mean, everything is the same between Paul and I, but everything is also different. I'm not exactly sure how to put it into words...
Our honeymoon was awesome! I don't have any photos uploaded yet, but I'm working on it. In the meantime, to the left is one I grabbed off the internet of an over water bungalow, similar to the one we stayed in.
Tahiti was nice, but nothing compared to Moorea. The water was crystal clear. The food was good. The people were friendly. Everything was insanely expensive, but it was so worth the trip!
One night at dinner, we met another newlywed couple from Boston. The husband went to Santa Clara during the same time Paul and I were there. The table next to them heard us chatting away, and they chimed in that they were from Los Gatos. Three couples in Moorea at the same time, all with ties to the Bay Area. Unbelievable!
